Birds in the Boneyard, Gamblers, Tom Moran
Birds in the Boneyard is a trio from Queens, New York formed by brothers Mike & Pete Condoleon. With the addition of Teo Vanovski on drums, Birds in the Boneyard has an explosive dynamic along with melodies that just make you move. Although no one can really pin point their sound, Birds in the Boneyard has elements of Pop, Rock & Roll and a hint Blues.
The band was officially formed in 2017, though the collaborative work of brothers Mike and Pete Condoleon have a lifetime in the making. They recorded their first Album, "Birds in the Boneyard" during the summer of 2017 (still in the works) for release in 2018, and have been expanding outside of New York, playing shows and growing their fanbase.
"Gamblers is a rock-and-roll gang of Brooklyn and Long Island natives. Led by Michael McManus, a hip-hop producer who has worked with many including Heems (Das Racist) and Meek Mill, and professional audio engineer Gary O'Keefe, who regularly produces content for Billboard. Gamblers combine catchy melodies with darker lyrical content that addresses themes such as alienation and addiction. With influences ranging from the Ramones, Frankie Valli and Blur, the result on their lead single "We're Bound to Be Together" sounds like an update to Olivia Tremor Control's "Holiday Surprises, 1, 2, 3". Gamblers' debut album "Small World" is expected in early 2017."
