WOVEN

Knitting Factory is proud to announce WOVEN, a philanthropic initiative developed to give back to our local communities in meaningful ways. Why WOVEN? At Knitting Factory, we aim to be as much a part of the community as the music itself. By weaving music into the fabric of everyday life, we believe we can contribute to the overall happiness and vitality of our community. At Knitting Factory, music isn’t just about entertainment; it’s about building relationships, creating memories, and enhancing overall well-being. Whether through live performances by local artists, intimate acoustic sessions, or collaborative community events, Knitting Factory strives to provide a space where music flourishes and connections are made.

A portion of every ticket sold will be donated on an annual basis to carefully selected partners in Boise, Idaho and Spokane, Washington where our flagship venues are located. The goal of WOVEN is twofold: to raise awareness for these outstanding organizations and to provide direct funding that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. By giving back to the communities that have embraced and supported Knitting Factory over the years, we strive to foster a spirit of collaboration and collective well-being.

Boise, ID – 2025:

We were able to save $33,000 to be split between two of our favorite local charities, WCA Boise and Children’s Home Society of Idaho.

More about @wca_boise
For over 40 years, WCA has been at the forefront of providing services to those healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Since its founding, WCA’s crisis program has evolved into one of the most vital, unduplicated, comprehensive programs in our community and region. WCA is proud to be a community leader in providing these critically needed services. We’ve been an important community partner for over 110 years and providing safe spaces for members of our community has always been at the core of our mission.

More about @chsidaho
The Children’s Home Society of Idaho was founded in 1908, originally operating as an orphanage. In 1975, when orphanages began to become obsolete, the Children’s Home established the Warm Springs Counseling Center and transitioned to providing outpatient mental health care to youth. In 2024, the Warm Springs Counseling Center began to operate under a new name – Children’s Home Counseling Services – in an effort to streamline our identity and better reflect the comprehensive range of services we provide.

The Children’s Home remains steadfast in its commitment to providing equitable access to mental health care for all children, regardless of financial circumstances or support systems. Through donor support, fundraising efforts, and innovative services, the organization continues to uphold its mission of ensuring every child receives the care they deserve.

Boise, ID – 2024:

We were able to save $31,825 to be split between two of our favorite local charities, Camp Rainbow Gold and Idaho Rivers United.

More about @camprainbowgold
Camp Rainbow Gold offers free camps to kids facing cancer and to their families. This is an opportunity to take a break from the cancer diagnosis and experience joy and build friendships. This has made a difference in so many children’s lives because experiences define a childhood; cancer should not.

More about @idahoriversunited
For 35 years and counting, Idaho Rivers United protects and restores the rivers and fisheries of Idaho. Idaho is home to 107,651 miles of river, and Idaho Rivers United is the only conservation organization in our state focused exclusively on the health and protections of our incredible river resources. If you love a river, take action and join us!

These funds helped Idaho Rivers United purchase five water quality testing kits for our Urban River Stewards program. This program is a community-based, volunteer program in Treasure Valley that helps to monitor water quality in the Boise River, advocate for river health, and lead clean-up efforts.
