Tondrae Kemp is eclectic soul, a radiant fusion of hip-hop, blues, rock, and reggae, anchored in what he calls "The Soul Starter Kit" of Wonder, Gaye, Mayfield, Withers, and Hathaway. You may have heard of Tondrae from his Red Bull Sound Select NY performances, the New Orleans festival scene (Essence, JazzFest), or features on media outlets such as Giantstep, Soulbounce, and Singersroom, amongst others. Tondrae has had the great honor of sharing the bill with such amazing acts as Joan Osborne, Thundercat, Robert Glasper, Bilal, Ledisi, Kem...to name a few.     Kemp is currently performing both his acclaimed new EP "Romancing The Dome" as well as his highly praised  full-length original LP, "Sun Money,".  His single, "Say If You Want Me To Leave," was voted by About.com the 17th Best R&B Song of the year. For Elmore Magazine, the standout track is "The Hotter the Fire," which "blends electronic beats, jazzy chord changes, intense lead guitar and a great vocal." Louisiana Cultural Vistas Magazine is impressed by "Happiness," which captures the "raw spirit of old blues" within a "modern sensibility." Overall, as Soundtracks.com writes, Kemp is "soulful, with a dash of folk, a little bit reggae, and a slight peppering of everything else in between.

Disco Cream

With the release of the Deep Sea Peach Tree EP, Disco Cream brings a new feel to a classic genre. Lush with addicting guitar hooks, jazzy pop progressions, and a garage rock attitude, the record boasts the aesthetic of indie rock anthems. Though songs are diverse from one another, there is a glue that holds it all together much like a concept album. Most importantly, the record never loses site of the emotional platform great songs are built from. ...

The first single, “Strawberry Milk”, is a retro classic rock tune complete with an old school feel and progression that breathes as it plays on. “The singles name comes from the smell of my girlfriend’s hair when we first started dating. It would always remind me of strawberry milk and I always loved it. It shares a mood with the rest of the album, however this song in particular has many different parts to it and does not follow a typical pop structure, this applies to some but not all of the other songs’” explains songwriter Kristof Denis. Although the single speaks volumes for the EP, to get a real understanding of where Disco Cream is coming from, it should be heard in its entirety. “Through writing and recording our first EP, we unintentionally discovered that our sound has a vibey/jazzy/rocky mood to it. As we continue to write new music, our sound will continue to evolve,” says Denis of the album and the bands progression in songwriting. Disco Cream was formed in New York City in 2015 by Kristof Denis (guitar/vocals) and Adam Wanetik (drums) who were previously members of the band “We Ride Bikes” with Adam on bass and Kristof on guitar. After meeting in high school, this two-piece became a three-piece at Skidmore College with the addition of John Colapinto on bass. The band is always writing new material and has already been Nominated by Pulse Music for a “New York Audience Choice Award” this year. The Deep Sea Peach Tree EP is now available for download and streaming on most digital outlets and the band has upcoming performances at venues around New York.
