The event is produced by Jay Agbon and Ryan Thomas, two NYC comics who have performed and produced comedy across several states and countries. They founded Mad Funny to introduce New Yorkers and visitors alike to the best up and coming comics in the nation.
 
Venue: The Knitting Factory has been a fixture in the NYC performing arts community since 1987. It's a little known NYC secret that this venue is a destination for independent comedy shows, with comedians like Hannibal Burress, Seth Herzog, and Pete Davidson having graced their stage in year's past.
